Hi there. I just finished these two today, and took them off the loom and they are cute, yes? They are made from the softest silk and wool blend and woven in a way that they are very drapey- the perfect winter-into-spring scarf, though I am calling it the spring scarf because that reminds me of San Francisco, where you need a scarf in the spring, and the summer! There are also some process photos so you may see some of the steps involved. One of the things that I love about weaving is that the technology hasn’t changed in thousands of years. Sure, they’ve added motors, but the mechanics are just the same…
